Are you organising a school trip to Barcelona and would like to include a flamenco class in your programme?

Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions from teachers and chaperones. If you need more details, please visit our full FAQ or get in touch.

What age group are the flamenco classes designed for?

Our flamenco initiation classes are suited to secondary school and sixth form students (ages 11 to 18). We regularly welcome school groups of all ages within this range.

The content and teaching approach are adapted according to age: more playful and dynamic for younger students, more technical and culturally focused for older ones.

How many students can take part in a class?

We can accommodate 10 to 60 students per class. The venue and room will depend on the number of participants.

What is the recommended duration for a school class?

We offer a choice between a 1-hour or 1.5-hour session. The choice depends on your programme, the time you wish to dedicate to this activity and your budget.

Can chaperones and teachers take part in the class?

Absolutely! Chaperones and teachers are welcome and can actively participate if they wish (many do!). You are also welcome to take photos and videos to capture the moment.

We simply ask that at least one chaperone is present throughout the class to supervise the group.

Do students need to wear anything specific?

No specific outfit is required. We simply recommend:

  • Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement
  • Trainers or flat closed-toe shoes

For this activity, we provide fans (traditional accessories!) to make the experience more authentic.

How far in advance should we book?

For school trips, we recommend booking at least 2 to 3 months in advance, especially for:

  • Peak school periods (March-April, May-June)
  • Large groups (more than 20 students)
  • Fixed dates that are difficult to change

For smaller groups (fewer than 20), 2-3 weeks is usually enough. You can check availability and book instantly online.
